Tim Blais is the founder and owner of Gateway Business Brokers. His services have brought value to a wide variety of business buyers and sellers, earning him the reputation as a leading business broker in Nova Scotia.

Tim’s background in business and marketing spans well over 15 years and includes banking, finance, mergers and acquisitions. Prior to becoming a licensed business broker, he was a Senior Relationship Manager for Royal Bank of Canada’s commercial market group growing and managing more than $100 million in financial assets. Francis Lee takes being a Realtor® to a level all his own.

With extensive training and years of experience, his skills and service offerings far exceed that of the average real estate agent. In fact, as a designated Associate Broker, Francis consistently ranks among the top professional Realtors in western Canada. He specializes in the Hotel/Motel industry, Real Estate Development, and has a background in real estate law, appraisals, mortgage financing, and commercial real estate.

Before beginning his successful career in real estate, Francis lived and worked in Seoul, South Korea as an electrical engineer. Peter Laureijs

Born and raised in Nova Scotia, Peter spent his early years being surrounded by successful business owners. He watched his father start and successfully sell two businesses. He worked in his relatives’ businesses when he was a student. He learned from a young age the importance of business ownership and how it can benefit many individuals, whether that be financial benefits, a flexible schedule, self-fulfillment, personal development, or the ability to look after and support family.

After having completed his Bachelor degree in Business at St. Francis Xavier University, Peter spent one year in the Netherlands where he received his Masters in Finance degree from Tilburg University. He then returned to Nova Scotia where he began his career in Business Brokering. Peter joined Gateway Business Brokers in 2016 and has been helping people buy and sell businesses ever since.
